How we work to make this website usable for everyone.

Our goal
We want everyone to be able to use this website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That is a goal, not a claim that every page meets it today.
What has been checked
We check the website's public pages regularly: text and form fields are easy to read in light and dark mode, every page works on a phone screen as narrow as 320 pixels, the county map can be used with a keyboard, and every form is labelled and tells you what happened after you send it. No independent accessibility audit has been done yet. The online store and the staff and contractor portals are not yet covered by the same checks.
