What the website's forms send

Each form on this website sends what you enter to South Florida Plumbing's server, where it is saved with a reference number and a timestamp so the office can answer it. The office is told by email, and a short confirmation with your reference number is emailed to the address you give (when you give one). Office staff see each request in the company's staff system.

  • Contact form: department, name, phone, email, property or project location, description, and optional access instructions. For a billing question: also an optional invoice number. It does not look up invoices, display customer records or take a payment.
  • Request service: service choice, name, phone, optional email, service address, problem description and an optional preferred time window. A window is a preference; the office confirms the actual time.
  • Request a quote: department, service, name, email, optional phone, address, description, and up to three optional photos.
  • Request an estimate (contractors): company, contact, phone, email, project details, and optional plan files or a link to plans.
  • Maintenance interest and career interest: name, email, optional phone, and the details on that form. No enrollment, appointment, payment or hiring decision results from sending them.
  • SFP Supply quote request (the store): name, email, optional phone, job street address and city, department, the items in your cart and optional notes. Nothing is priced, charged or ordered by sending it.
  • Ask SFP (the help button): your question and the last few messages of the conversation are used to answer it from this website’s own pages, and the question is not saved. When an answer says it was worded by AI, the question and those page extracts are sent to the AI service that words it.

An anonymous cookie identifies your browser so you can see the requests you sent from it and another visitor cannot. Sending a form does not schedule an appointment, dispatch staff, confirm coverage or set a price, and no payment or charge is made. Please do not include card or bank details, passwords, alarm codes or other sensitive information.

Browser and website information

The website code does not save form entries to local storage or session storage, and it does not create a customer account. Form details are kept in page memory while you use the form. Your browser’s own autofill, history, and page-restoration features may behave according to your browser settings.

Hosting and delivery services may process technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser information, and request times to operate and protect the site. This site serves its Fraunces and Inter font files from local assets; it makes no font requests to Google Fonts.

The public pages (not the staff or contractor portals) use Google Analytics 4 to count visits. Google’s script sets its own cookies (_ga and _ga_<id>) and sends Google the page you viewed, the page you came from, your browser and device details and your IP address, which Google uses to estimate a coarse location. South Florida Plumbing sees only totals, not who you are. You can block it with a content blocker or Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

Client website links open third-party sites. Their information handling is governed by their own notices and practices.
